The Senior Engineer - Engine Management Systems, is responsible for the development and engineering integrity of all engine management software and hardware from creation to implementation.

Develops EMS software and hardware
- Responsible for the software release and version control
- Supervises the work and performance of and mentors Clean Air Power's EMS Engineer(s)
- Creates and overseas vehicle calibration activities, vehicle inspection, testing and trouble shooting

Supports Chief Engineer - Powertrain Projects in project decisions and gateway milestones relating to EMS matters
- Arranges and supports powertrain testing
- Creates and manages support documentation
- Performs customer vehicle diagnostics at Poway facility
- Liaises with and assists Production Operations and Product Support to trouble shoot and improve product
- Responsible for pilot and post-production demonstrations as appropriate
- Assists with customer phone help-line
- Participates in customer meetings and runs customer product demonstrations as appropriate

Qualifications, Education, Skills, Abilities & Experience
- Required:
- 5 - 7 years experience in Engine Management System engineering in an OEM environment
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- Able to read schematics and technical drawings
- Familiarity with ISO concept
- Demonstrated analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Windows based PC skills including MS Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) Matlab and Simulink
- Able to handle multiple assignments
- Ability and maturity to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to build and maintain positive and supportive working relationships with personnel in all departments in the organization
- Foreign travel as required; must have or be able to obtain a passport
- Must be flexible, adaptable and capable of working with multiple priorities
